The Strike

Image
It takes pains & not pleasure to abandon work & be on streets by working class people. Its a compulsion & the last option when an elected the government does not gives ear & attention to their demands of basic necessity. Upholding rationality, just criticizing the strike will be an injustice to the suffering people. Present Central government's lovable attitude towards big corporates of our nation in reality is sidelining the hardworking people, is marginalizing their dedication which contributes towards country's prosperity. Here are the reason of today's All India Strike . Law framed by Britishers is the tool to exploit the rights of proletariat. Contract Labour, Minimum Wage, Compromising the EFP interest rate, Exploiting Labour laws are the current trend of central government. Its the responsibility of common man to understand this grave concerning situation of our own people.

THE REPUBLIC OF REASON

Image
Indian Constitution's article 51A(h) says to develop humanity, spirit of enquiry & scientific temper among its people. This empowerment is unique in whole world. Unfortunately elected lawmakers are forerunners of religion & its fundamentalism, obscurantism & superstition. To tackle these set of insane actions, name of Dr . Narendra Dabholkar strikes my mind whose hardwork & battle of more than two decades is a proof. It is utter shameful for an elected government to keep mum on his murder failing to safeguard crushing of Indian Constitution's empowerment to its people. The republic of reason is under threat in a Sovereign, Secular, Socialist, Democratic, Republic of India. Hearty Remembrance & Revolutionary salute to Dr . Narendra Dabholkar for his electrifying, rational guidance to us. Long Live Rationality Long Live Revolution

INTERNATIONAL WORKERS DAY

LABOUR UNDER ATTACK It takes pain and not pleasure for a worker to survive under vulnerable harsh conditions. The country is at crossroads to make a crucial choice between the demands of industry for labour laws that are in consonance with the constitutional mandate for a welfare state. The need to introduce labour reforms under banner of "Shramev Jayatey" is vague promise to play with livelihood of working class people. Narendra Modi led BJP government went ahead in full steam to simplify labour laws. Here are some examples- Indian government ratified International Labour Organization (ILO) Convention 87 which deals with the right to organization, Convention 81 says labour inspection  system free of external influences. It is being directly violated. Convention 98 which targets collective bargaining. Convention 160 of the Labour Statistics Convention 1985. The relevance of labour statistics is seriously undermined by the dominant neoliberal  ideology which seeks to...

Naujawan Bharat Sabha- Pillar of Secularism

Image
An Extract from Manifesto of Naujawan Bharat Sabha (NBS) - " We Indians, what we are we doing? A branch of peepal tree is cut & religious feelings of the Hindus are injured. A corner of paper idol, tazia, of the idol-breaker Mohammedans is broken, & Allah gets enraged, who cannot be satisfied with anything less than the blood of the infidel Hindus. Man ought to be attached more importance than the animals and, yet here in India, they break each other's heads in the name of 'sacred   animals'. It was written & published by Bhagwati Charan Vohra in 1926, man in 1st pic & NBS was formed by diehard efforts of Bhagat Singh along with Sukhdev & Comrade Ram Chander in 2nd pic. NBS was an open organization of Hindustan Socialist Republican Association(HSRA).These lines are so much relevant in today's conditions of our nation. Inquilab Zindabad! Saamrajyavaad ka naash ho! Long Live Revolution! Down with Imperialism!

Truth of RSS- India's Pseudo- Nationalists

Religion- A Tool of Politics

Image
Swami Vivekananda's Chicago Speech, Parliament of Religion , 11th September , 1893 An excerpt of speech- If the Parliament of Religions has shown anything to the world it is this: It has proved to the world that holiness, purity and charity are not the exclusive possessions of any church in the world, and that every system has produced men and women of the most exalted character. In the face of this evidence, if anybody dreams of the exclusive survival of his own religion and the destruction of the others, I pity him from the bottom of my heart, and point out to him that upon the banner of every religion will soon be written, in spite of resistance: "Help and not Fight," "Assimilation and not Destruction," "Harmony and Peace and not Dissension ." Today India is passing through worst anachronism of its form. The present government of India is trying to suppress & break the bond of commonality among people of different religion & ca...

We Shall Overcome!

A Hope for Indian Left's Revival T he Left is now virtually absent from the Indian political space. It is barely a contender in any of the coming elections. It is in power only in one state, Tripura. It has virtually no voice in Parliament or influence on policy. Its perspective is unheard of in the media. Its general ideology is either largely unknown or outrightly reviled. Leftist academics have descended into arcane and esoteric debates about poststructuralism and the like which reminds one of the medieval ‘dark age debates’ in Europe about how many angels could dance on the head of a pin. The litany list can continue but suffice to say that the Indian left is in the midst of a historically unprecedented decimation. The impact of this on Indian polity is profound and the revival of the Left is very necessary. This article therefore lays out some suggestions as to how this could be done. These encompass larger questions of strategy as well as practical suggestions on tact...
